Nur

A home for Muslim women

Where faith becomes action.

Nur is a home for Muslim women cultivating knowledge, courage, and collective impact.

What is Nur

Not a network. Not a nonprofit. A movement, held together by conviction.

Nur incorporates elements of a social platform, a knowledge institute, and a humanitarian network — but its center of gravity is different. It exists to inspire, equip, and mobilize Muslim women to become active contributors to their communities and the wider world.

A legacy we seek to revive

Reviving the legacy of the greatest women.

Nur takes its bearings from Asiya, Maryam, Khadijah, and Fatima (sa) — women granted the highest honor. We seek to revive their legacy of faith, wisdom, courage, compassion, and service, in small and daily ways.

Five principles, in the order we return to them.

I

Truth

Intellectual honesty, thoughtful discussion, nuance, evidence, and curiosity — rejecting misinformation and shallow thinking.

II

Light

Faith that illuminates: spiritual clarity, hope, mercy, and purpose.

III

Service

Faith expressed through meaningful action — serving communities, serving humanity, creating tangible impact.

IV

Excellence

Ihsan: beauty, competence, high standards, and intentionality in doing every task well.

V

Stewardship

Responsibility toward society — care for communities, justice, and long-term thinking.
