Qist · Social justice initiative

Justice carried forward in the Zaynabi tradition.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلَّهِ

“O you who believe, stand firmly for justice, as witnesses for Allah.”

Surah An-Nisa · 4:135

Qist takes its name from al-qist — the very word for justice used in this verse. It is rooted in the Zaynabi legacy: the courage, service, and moral responsibility embodied by Sayyida Zaynab (sa) in the face of injustice. Qist connects Muslim women with causes that ask the same of us today — not spectacle, but steady, dignified action.

Support Dardistan Girls School

Nestled in the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Dardistan Girls School gives young girls in a remote region access to consistent, quality education — often the first sustained opportunity of its kind available to them.

Support helps sustain classrooms, retain qualified teachers, and keep tuition within reach for the families who send their daughters here.
